Paparazzi

Evelyn turned six weeks old yesterday! At her most recent checkup she weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. She also got a shot - which hurt Steph more than it did Evelyn. And we haved passed another significant milestone since the last post.

We have officially taken more than 300 pictures of her.



You'd think that she wouldn't be so surprised at the camera anymore, but you can see that isn't the case. The above photo is actually number 311...and that's just with our camera.

Also of note is the fact that she now smiles on purpose. Maybe we can capture one of those baby grins in the next 300 pictures.

Happy Easter

Evelyn was very excited to wear her first Easter dress.

She was a little less thrilled about the Easter bonnet.



But she played along anyway, holding on to her stuffed bunny and getting her basket ready to hunt for eggs.

Tax Time

Evelyn wanted to remind everyone that your Federal Tax Returns need to be postmarked by Monday, April 17th. If you haven't started working on them yet, you might want to think about it...



We know that she isn't a deduction for us until taxes are due next year, but she wanted to get some practice. Happy calculating!

One Month Old

"Ooohh, I'm one month old today..."

The Green Sweater

Many people have asked what happened to the green sweater that marked off each month during the pregnancy. Well, it's still around. We actually got it out on the morning of March 12th, just before we went to the hospital to have Evelyn. You can almost tell that Steph was having contractions while these "0 Months To Go" pictures were being taken.

Light Reading

While we were looking through the Sunday paper this morning, Evelyn decided that she also wanted to get in a little light reading.



She was pretty engrossed in this book. But since she is only four weeks old, we think that she was more interested in the colorful pictures than the words. Just like Daddy, who always goes for the comics first.
