Christmas Prep

We spent the last few weeks getting ready for Christmas. From decorating the tree to orchestra & band & chorus concerts to visiting Santa to making cookies, it's starting to feel like the holidays around here!

Soccer Season Wrap-Up

Brandon finished up the Fall U8 soccer season this weekend. He went out on a high note, scoring a goal as the final whistle blew.

Science Center Visit

Evy & Brandon took a trip to the Carnegie Science Center today. We started at SportsWorks, then checked out the model railroad, interacted with robots, and walked through the submarine.

Out to the Ballgame

We were able to visit PNC Park and watch the Nationals take on the Pirates on Sunday afternoon. It was a beautiful day at the ballpark for the kids to take some pictures and learn about the finer points of Major League Baseball. You know, things like the free giveaway, the Great Pierogi Race, and a bench-clearing brawl.



The Bucs ended up losing 10-7, but it was still a great afternoon of baseball.

Back to School

It's back to school time again!

Evelyn started fifth grade and Brandon is now in first. Both kids had a great first day!

Brandon is Seven!

Brandon turned seven this weekend and we celebrated with a sports themed birthday party.

Summer Fun

Summer is winding down the kids will be heading back to school soon. We did the typical summer activities like bike riding, swimming and eating lots of ice cream.

We also mixed in a trip to Kennywood (including Evy's first ride on the Phantom's Revenge),

a safari ride at Lake Tobias Wildlife Park,



and a pit stop at the AACA Museum in Hershey.

Race Day

Everyone knows that Brandon loves cars. So imagine his excitement when we had a chance to go watch real drag racing.



Evelyn had fun too.

OCMD 2016

We had another fun week in Ocean City! The Air Show was in town this year, and we added go-karts to the mix.

Busy Day

Brandon finished the U6 Spring soccer season this morning with a bunch of goals and a new glow-in-the-dark medal.

Then this evening Evelyn finished her year of dance with tap, ballet, and hip-hop numbers in the recital.

Last Day of School

Today was the last day of school. Evelyn finished fourth grade and Brandon is done with Kindergarten.

Evelyn finished her second year of viola with an orchestra concert.
