Ready for Christmas

We have spent the last few weeks preparing for the holidays, from driving around looking at lights while drinking hot chocolate to decorating to wrapping to baking to putting out milk and cookies.

Fall Soccer Wrap-Up

Brandon just finished his Fall U10 season with a last-minute cancellation of an already rescheduled game. He had fun the rest of the time (when the weather cooperated) though.

Back to School

It's already time for the first day of school!



Evelyn is in seventh grade and Brandon is in third. Here's to another fun school year!

Brandon is Nine!

Brandon turned nine this week and we celebrated with a cookout and a Mario Kart party.

Northern Ohio Trip

We headed to Cleveland this past week (after a quick stop in Cranberry, Pa., for some fun and games). The kids had a great time at the Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.



Then we continued on to the Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky for some indoor water park adventures and MagiQuests.

OCMD 2018

The kids headed back to the beach for another week of fun and sun! We played mini golf, jumped into the pool, raced go-karts and searched for shells.

Spring Recap

This spring started out with a snowstorm.



It also included an extended soccer season for Brandon.



And Evy's annual dance recital.

We celebrated a three-part Easter this year, complete with baskets, egg hunts and a few inches of snow.

Birthday Month

Evelyn was able to celebrate her twelfth birthday for just about the entire month of March this year.

First it was an early birthday party (thanks to the middle school musical schedule).



Then it was the actual day of her birthday (between school and dance classes).



And finally it was a gathering with her friends last weekend.

Triple Threat Two

The Monster Jam Triple Threat series came back into town this past weekend. It was Brandon's fourth monster truck event but his first time in the lower section of the arena.

The view was a little different, but the trucks (and his cheering) were just as loud.
