Summer Wrap-up

Our summer of 2020 included a lot of outdoor activities, from daily walks to blueberry picking, sunflower fields and park visits.

Number 11

Brandon turned eleven and since his favorite NASCAR driver is Denny Hamlin the birthday theme was pretty obvious this year.

Little did we know that our set of pictures of him with his cake would make it to Denny's Facebook page and all of the Joe Gibbs Racing social media sites.

OCMD 2020

We went back to OCMD for a socially distant vacation this year. Things were definitely different than usual (obviously) but still included sun and sand and waves.

We celebrated Easter at home this year with dye and baskets and an outdoor egg hunt.

Birthday, Interrupted

Evy turned fourteen this week and celebrated her birthday by going to school, having a quick treat and then performing in the middle school musical that evening. It was pretty much the last event in the district before everything shut down.

Her birthday party is postponed until a later date so there is no cake picture yet. But more photos from her actual fourteenth birthday are on Flickr.

Winter Update

Winter has included a lot of activities so far, with most of them happening inside. The kids finally did get out in the snow earlier this month for some sled riding and snowball throwing.



We have also glow golfed, bowled and ice skated. And Brandon took the court with his first basketball team.

We also headed to the arena for the Monster Jam Triple Threat event (for the fourth straight year). If you're keeping track that's a full dozen threats. Brandon had a great time.
