Happy Easter!

We celebrated a three-part Easter this year, complete with baskets, egg hunts and a few inches of snow.

Birthday Month

Evelyn was able to celebrate her twelfth birthday for just about the entire month of March this year.

First it was an early birthday party (thanks to the middle school musical schedule).



Then it was the actual day of her birthday (between school and dance classes).



And finally it was a gathering with her friends last weekend.

Triple Threat Two

The Monster Jam Triple Threat series came back into town this past weekend. It was Brandon's fourth monster truck event but his first time in the lower section of the arena.

The view was a little different, but the trucks (and his cheering) were just as loud.

The tree is decorated, the concerts are finished, the cookies are baked and the presents are wrapped. We're ready for Christmas!

Fall Soccer Season

Brandon just finished his first U10 soccer season. It was quite a jump - giant field, more players, new rules, etc. Even with all the changes he still had a lot of fun!

Heinz Field Resident

There isn't any living space in Heinz Field, but if there was then perhaps Evy should get a lease. She's visited twice in the past week.

Last Sunday she attended her very first Steelers game, complete with seats in Section 114 and a pregame field pass.



Then on Saturday she was there for Kids Day and was able to tour the press box and locker room. She also was the only girl to make a field goal through the uprights.

First Day of School

It's back to school time!

Evelyn is in sixth grade at the middle school and Brandon is in second grade. They now ride different busses, but both kids had a fun first day!

Brandon is Eight!

Brandon turned eight this weekend and celebrated with a superhero party!



On his actual birthday he was able to go to Heinz Field for a Steelers game (with sideline passes).
