Happy Easter

We celebrated Easter at home this year with dye and baskets and an outdoor egg hunt.

Birthday, Interrupted

Evy turned fourteen this week and celebrated her birthday by going to school, having a quick treat and then performing in the middle school musical that evening. It was pretty much the last event in the district before everything shut down.

Her birthday party is postponed until a later date so there is no cake picture yet. But more photos from her actual fourteenth birthday are on Flickr.

Winter Update

Winter has included a lot of activities so far, with most of them happening inside. The kids finally did get out in the snow earlier this month for some sled riding and snowball throwing.

We have also glow golfed, bowled and ice skated. And Brandon took the court with his first basketball team.

We also headed to the arena for the Monster Jam Triple Threat event (for the fourth straight year). If you're keeping track that's a full dozen threats. Brandon had a great time.

More photos of our wintertime activities are on Flickr.

Merry Christmases

We hope you had a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful end of 2019.

More pictures from all three of our Christmases are on Flickr.

Ready for Christmas

The tree is decorated, the cookies are baked and we even visited the downtown holiday festivities this year. We're ready!

More Christmas prep photos are on Flickr.

Halloween 2019

Happy Halloween in the rain from a butterfly and a ninja (but a totally different ninja than last year).

More Halloween pictures are on Flickr.

U12 Soccer Season

Brandon moved up to U12 soccer this season. The field is bigger and the kids are bigger. And the goalies can punt!

More pictures from his first U12 season are on Flickr.

First Day of School

We had an extra week of summer break this year, but it's time to go back to school!

Evelyn is in eighth grade and Brandon is in fourth. Here's to another fun school year!

Summer Wrap-Up

It's been a long, busy summer of activities! We've been to Kennywood (twice), the Science Center, Fun Fore All, the Coffee Pot and North Park for some kayaking on the lake.

More pictures from the summer of 2019 are on Flickr.

Virginia Trip

School starts a little late this year, so we were able to head to Virginia during the last week of August for a family vacation. We visited Busch Gardens, Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg.

We also played mini golf, shot some hoops and went swimming in the hotel pool. More photos from our Virginia trip are on Flickr.
