Since it is getting nice outside (and knowing that hockey is not a option), Evelyn has decided to give tennis a try. She isn't too great at it yet. But that might be because the tennis racquet is bigger than she is.
She already has the visor situation under control. Maybe if the actual playing of tennis doesn't pan out, she could always just look cute in a tennis outfit. That seems to work for some people.

NHL Playoffs
Evelyn's mullet is coming in nicely - and just in time for the hockey playoffs, too. She's been working on it since she was born...
To go along with the theme, she also has a scratch above her eye. And no teeth.
Apparently her favorite part of the sport was the fighting. Which is too bad, because now Steph will never allow her to watch another game. Maybe if the Penguins make the playoffs next year she'll get another chance. But I doubt it.

Boy Cousins
Evelyn got to meet her boy cousins this past weekend.
The DeWitt Boys (and parents) hopped in their cool minivan and drove all the way from North Carolina to see her.
Jackson, a very smooth four year old, told her that she was the cutest baby ever. We think that he was practicing for an eventual campaign for mayor of his preschool.
All Donovan wanted to do was hold "Baby Evelyn" every chance he got. And once he got a hold of her, he didn't want to let go.
Evelyn also met lots of other family members and friends during this visit, ranging from a second cousin who is three days younger (and three pounds heavier) than she is, to her Great Grand Aunt, who is 93.
Evelyn charmed people of all ages. We think it was the hair.

Road Trip
Evelyn turned two months old yesterday. To celebrate, we decided to take a real road trip (more than 45 minutes in the car) and do some visiting. It takes about 3 1/2 hours to get to Grandma & Doodad's house, but Evelyn thinks that it is just past the mall. She fell asleep on Route 51 and didn't wake up until we were pulling into their driveway.
No, I did not take this picture of our sleeping baby while driving - Steph wouldn't let me. But this is pretty much the view I had in the rear view mirror for 190 miles.

Just The Girls
Cousin Hannah (and her parents) came to visit this past weekend. Even though we've heard about the Terrible Twos, Hannah was extremely patient and very gentle with Evelyn.
The weekend visitors showed up in their "cool" new vehicle. So now all of Evy's cousins cruise around in mini vans. But she's not buckling under the pressure.
